Dear Reader,
One of my favorite poems from my latest collection is a poem called The Huldufolk. The Huldufolk or hidden people are creatures from Icelandic folklore, magic creatures who hide in plain sight, occupying the thin space between our reality and theirs.
While the people of Iceland no longer believe in elves, the tradition of the Huldufolk hints at something universally true—that our world, despite our mastery of it, is still full of wonder.
